My Letters

Dear long weekends,  the excitement and love you bring will never fade. I can't assure my bank account the same.  Dear Megan and Molly,  what a great time a movie, cheap wine, a fountain, and ponies can be with you girls.  Dear new Swedish friends,  you were the most amazing, entertaining, happiest, best dressed dancers I've ever seen. I hope with all my hopes to see you again. Thanks, Jonatan and Catharina for introducing these awesome people. Dear $6.99 leather jacket,  I'm so excited to have found you at the Fleamarket today. Rest assured, you will be put to use and loved dearly. And thanks, Sune for spotting your broke lady so I can try to be cool.  Dear super awesome  Sweet potato hash browns,    you filled my tummy with rays of sunshine.  Dear Bella,  (Molly's 88 year old roommate!) you've been added to my list of fascinating people I want to write a book about. And you were just as sweet as...

Today's Gratitude

This week, I'm grateful for...   Having Wednesday night and Thursday off!   Getting the chance to see Sune play so much Silly floral shop and floraborg plans.  Domestic days with the boy, picking out flowers, visiting his hometown, coffee by the harbor, and meeting his "second family." The town of Dragør is a very quiet, peaceful town by the harbor with this fort they made to watch the pesky Swedes. (I believe that's what it was).  The town is adorable with perfect little yellow homes along cobblestone paths, accented with beautiful vivid flowers in the windows and gardens. It was nice having coffee with his "second family" who were very welcoming and lovely. Interesting too with all their African hunting experiences.  On top of the fort in Dragør. That night, we were on a mission to make a jungle for his room and ended up with this beast. It was funny too, after his very domestic day, we really had to get our motivation to go out for a party....

Girls Night, Love Day, Puppets, and Gospel Music

Before continuing this blog, I can't believe I haven't introduced Megan and Molly yet. They came into the picture, also thanks to the previous au pair, Rebecca, who knew Molly. Megan and Molly are two beautiful half Scottish/Danish sisters.Molly previously au paired here and is now working here, while Megan is starting out au pairing here. They're both such incredibly nice, fun girls to be around. It's always a good time with them! I'm so glad to have met these great girls here. :)  Friday   Girls' night with Jen, Maria, and Megan with plenty of venting + laughing at children, especially them getting hurt.  Thomas ended up stealing Maria away.  Jen and I ended up at Charlie's.  Ended the night with Sune time when his guys' night was done. :)  I just love getting his super happy, big hugged greetings like on this night.  Saturday         Chose to celebrate "Charlotte and Anne-Li...
